{Reading List} March

It's been awhile since I've shared my reading picks.  I'm currently in a discipleship group that is reading one book a month.  We started in January so I should have at least a dozen good Christian books added to my library this year.  In addition to my "assigned reading," my curiosity got the best of me this week after hearing (several times) The Hunger Games will be in theaters next Friday (yay)!  I had Bryant pick up book one for me yesterday and I loved it!  It's been too long since I've read a good piece of fiction - any fiction for that matter.  I highly recommend it, especially if you're a Twilight fan!  It has that same page turning power where you can't seem to find a good place to insert the bookmark so you just keep on reading!  Picking up the sequel, Catching Fire, is on my list for things to do tomorrow...

The Secret was a short read that defined the key principles of leadership.  It was thought provoking and challenging, and anything but boring (which is what I would expect for a leadership book).  This is a great book for anyone in leadership to read or for anyone who would like to lead.  "Leaders have a lot to think about.  They always do."

And if you've never thought of Jesus' personality as playful or cunning or if you've never really thought about His personality much at all, you need to read Beautiful Outlaw.  John Eldredge paints a fresh picture of Christ - one which I've honestly never seen before in its entirety - that is untainted by "the religious fog" we have grown so accustomed to.  Parts of this book will stick with me for a long time...

What's on your spring reading list?  I've just started this and this.
